I hold a PhD in Machine Learning from Royal Holloway, University of London (September 2004). Currently I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Frederick University where I am also heading the Computational Intelligence Laboratory (COIN). I am also a Visiting Fellow at the Computer Learning Research Centre of Royal Holloway, University of London and a research consultant at Albourne Partners where I'm heading the Machine Learning Group. You can find my Google Scholar profile here.

My main research interests focus on the development of Machine Learning techniques that accompany their predictions with well-calibrated measures of confidence based on Conformal Prediction and on the application of such techniques to challenging real life problems.

Check out the Virtual Web Platform and Augmented Reality App developed under the EnterCY project that I'm coordinating. Enjoy the interactive digital content for 100+ of the most important tourist sites in Cyprus!
