Dr. Sotiris L. Omirou is an Associate
Professor at the
Mechanical
Engineering Department of
the
Frederick University Cyprus, (Sep.
2007).
He received the
MSc degree in
Mechanical Engineering from the Iassi
Polytechnic Institute (1984), and the
Ph.D. degree in
Mechanical Engineering
from the University of Patras, Greece,
(1991).
He
worked as

Assistant
Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Frederick
Institute of Technology (FIT) of Nicosia Cyprus, (2004-2007).

Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Technological
Educational Institute (TEI) of Patras Greece, (1988-2004).

Associate and Teaching Assistant at the Mechanical Engineering Department of
the University of Patras, (1985-1991).

Engineering Instructor at the Public Institute of Vocational Training
of Patras, (1993-2002).

Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing, Interpolation
Algorithms for
CNC systems and Motion Generation.
He

Cyprus (ETEK), the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE)

the Institution of
Mechanical Engineers of UK (ImechE).
